Our background
Born in the North-East of France, I have always felt the urgent need to move, to travel to discover other countries, other cultures, other horizons.
Quite quickly, I realized that the proximity of the sea naturally brought me both great energy and total peace of mind. The feeling of being in the right place.
This well-being that I felt every time on the beach I imprinted in my memory. After a professional break, time for me to raise two marvelous boys, I wanted to create a product that looked like me.
At home, there is always an old backgammon set in aged wood that is often requested for family games. This is where the idea naturally germinated, the desire to bring together two elements that I love: backgammon and the beach.
This is how MOB was born...
Our universe
I imagined a luxurious, top-of-the-range product that could also be a beautiful decorative object.
The sleek, sober and chic style of MOB makes it a timeless and unique piece.
MOB offers the advantage of being customizable thanks to the engraving of a logo and the choice of a color. This possibility is important to me because each client is unique, has his own story, his own desires.
I like the idea of the exclusive, personal game, chosen with care…
MOB is also a very beautiful story of encounters, I had the chance to meet a young carpenter from Lorraine who immediately believed in my project and who put his heart and all his know-how into creating, in his family workshop, the first MOB.
I chose to work only with local, French craftsmen who share the same values as me: the desire to do well, honesty, respect for others and a taste for beauty.
And finally the game. To play is to develop one's imagination, one's logic, to affirm one's personality and one's creativity.
To play is to free your mind, to have fun, to share a moment with another. A philosophy that I like.
